They trust us - Discover our partners
Since 2018, we’ve trusted ALUMO for our premium bespoke shirts. We choose ALUMO for one reason: uncompromising quality and a relentless commitment to keep raising the bar. Voyage is our go-to, in solids and classic stripes and checks. For what matters most to us (hand feel, consistency lot to lot, and solid sustainability credentials), ALUMO is unmatched.

I have been working with ALUMO since 1989. Why? ALUMO is the best shirt fabric weaver in the world—compared to other weavers, ALUMO has the absolute best fabrics with exceptional feel and durability. The challenge: giving customers the best possible product. The result: satisfied customers for decades. We work with Popeline, Twill and Oxford weaves - namely Supraluxe, Oxford 920, Cashmerello, Twill Adula, Soyella Duecento and Soyella Royal. We care most about how the fabric feels and performs, the quality of technical support and service, and the value for money, and ALUMO consistently meets these needs.

For nearly twenty years, ALUMO has been a trusted partner. We’ve never encountered challenges in development or production, and the quality has been flawless and consistent across every order. We mostly use Soyella in solid colours—primarily white and light blue—with the occasional stripe. Our regular references include Salvatore Triplo, Stefano, Pique Supraluxe, Genio, and Splendor. What we value most is fabric quality and hand, lot-to-lot consistency, and responsive technical support and service. ALUMO has met these needs, and we greatly appreciate the craft behind their fabrics. We look forward to our partnership continuing to blossom.

We have worked with ALUMO for 50 years and continue to rely on their fabrics for our finest work, especially voile and plissé, with Cashmerello and Marcella as regular go-tos. The hand and overall quality are outstanding, the design and colour library is deep and refined, and their technical service and support are responsive and reliable. ALUMO is a true partner, not just a supplier.
For over two decades, we’ve stood by the same principles that define ALUMO: uncompromising quality and service, proudly made in Switzerland. We gravitate toward classic, elegant fabrics, and ALUMO continues to meet that standard with an exceptional hand-feel and quality, dependable consistency across lots, and transparent sustainability credentials. It’s a commitment we value deeply.

I have worked with ALUMO fabrics for over 30 years, and put very simply, they are the very best. Among many favourites, my go-to is the white Leandro for its beautiful handle and opaque look. What sets ALUMO apart is not only the exceptional hand and quality of the fabrics, but also the absolute consistency across lots, and the breadth of their design and colour library. ALUMO remains unmatched in excellence.
We started working with ALUMO about five years ago, when we decided to develop our bespoke shirting offer. From the very beginning, it was clear to us that high-quality fabric would be essential to deliver the level of craftsmanship we were aiming for.
In fact, even before becoming a craftsman, the very first fabric I used for a bespoke shirt was ALUMO Sea Island cotton. The more I wore it, the better it felt. Over time, it became my absolute favorite, and that experience naturally led me to choose ALUMO as the foundation of our fabric selection.
My favorite fabric remains the Sea Island cotton reference 7089-9836-1089. ALUMO’s color palette is outstanding, and I’m particularly drawn to the 1089 shade. I tend to prefer a slightly softer, more relaxed aesthetic rather than a strictly formal look. This shade offers exactly that balance. It works beautifully with suits, but also pairs exceptionally well with denim and other casual fabrics.
What I value most about ALUMO fabrics is the texture and the color. In bespoke tailoring, fabric quality is absolutely fundamental. Compared to other fabrics, ALUMO’s are remarkably soft and comfortable, and the color balance is always just right. That consistency makes them easy to integrate into any style and gives both the tailor and the wearer complete confidence.
We chose to work with ALUMO to highlight the excellence of their Swiss heritage cotton fabrics within our tailored shirt service. Selecting the right fabric was essential to match the quality and craftsmanship of our garments, and ALUMO perfectly met that standard.
While we also appreciate the Soyella and Supraluxe poplin range, our favourites are ALUMO’s Oxford fabrics. We frequently use references 7451.920 and 7451.1920, from plain to striped and patterned variations, as these are consistently requested by our customers.
What truly sets ALUMO apart is the distinctive texture and density of the fabrics, qualities we like to describe as the ‘charm of Swiss heritage cotton’. The colours are equally impressive: refined contrasts, subtle tonal gradations, and bright, crystalline shades that evoke the Swiss sky. They are instantly recognisable as an ALUMO signature.
I’ve been working with ALUMO for many years, always in search of fabrics that truly represent sartorial excellence. I was looking for consistent quality, reliability, and materials whose value would be clearly reflected in the finished garment.
With ALUMO, I found a solid and dependable partner who has significantly enhanced both the quality of my work and my customers’ satisfaction.
I primarily use Salvatore Triplo, whose triple ply construction 160/3 x 160/3 is synonymous with quality, an extraordinary feel, and impeccable performance. For me, it represents the ultimate expression of excellent shirtmaking. I appreciate its versatility, elegance, and structure, making it perfectly suited to both formal shirts and more contemporary interpretations.
What I value most is, without a doubt, the quality of the fabric. With Salvatore Triplo, the handfeel is exceptional, the tailoring result is impeccable, and the reliability is outstanding. I also highly value the consistency between batches and the quality-to-price ratio, which is perfectly aligned with the level of the product.
