Avellino Grey Popelin Check is a casually elegant shirting fabric from ALUMO’s Avellino line—designed to capture the relaxed charm of linen in a pure cotton construction. This Zephir weave combines fine Ne 120/2 yarns in the warp with Ne 100/2 – 40/1 slub yarns in the weft, creating a naturally irregular texture that mimics the look of a linen blend. With 52 yarns per centimetre in the warp and 33 in the weft, the fabric is light, breathable, and full of visual interest.
The grey check design enhances the slub texture with understated sophistication, making this fabric ideal for casual shirting that still feels polished.
