Sea Island White Popelin Solid Plain 2 is a luxurious shirting fabric crafted from the rare and highly valued Sea Island cotton, grown exclusively in the British West Indian Islands. Known for its exceptionally long fibers—up to 52 mm—this cotton is prized for its unparalleled softness, strength, and natural sheen.
Woven with fine Ne 120/2 yarns in both warp and weft, this elegant poplin fabric offers a smooth, crisp texture paired with a high thread count of 67 yarns per centimetre in the warp and 31 in the weft. Sea Island White Popelin provides excellent durability and a pristine white colour, making it a perfect choice for refined, high-quality shirting.
