Giro Light Light Blue Dobby/Structured Solid Plain Structured is a lightweight and breathable shirting fabric from ALUMO’s Giro Light collection, crafted with a refined basket weave inspired by the historic “giro inglese” technique originally developed for British troops. Unlike the original Giro, Giro Light features a finer leno structure, creating an elegant fabric with a subtle jersey-like texture.
Woven from Ne 100/2 yarns in both warp and weft, it boasts a thread density of 54 yarns per centimetre in the warp and 28 in the weft. This fabric offers exceptional ventilation without compromising opacity, making it perfect for stylish and comfortable summer shirts. The soft light blue shade adds a fresh and sophisticated touch, ideal for warm-weather shirting that blends comfort, practicality, and timeless elegance.
