Giro Light White Dobby/Structured Solid Plain Structured is a lightweight and breathable shirting fabric from ALUMO’s Giro Light collection, woven using a refined basket weave inspired by the historic “giro inglese” technique originally developed for British troops. Featuring a finer leno structure compared to the original Giro, this fabric offers a soft, jersey-like texture with excellent ventilation, making it ideal for warm weather.
Made from Ne 100/2 yarns in both warp and weft, it boasts a thread density of 54 yarns per centimetre in the warp and 28 in the weft. This construction ensures a light, airy fabric that maintains opacity while maximizing breathability.
