Avellino Beige Popelin Solid plain
Avellino Beige Popelin Solid Plain is a warm and subtly textured shirting fabric from ALUMO’s Avellino line—designed to evoke the natural look of linen, while offering the softness, structure, and easy care of 100% cotton. It is woven in a Zephir construction, combining Ne 120/2 yarns in the warp with Ne 100/2 – 40/1 slub yarns in the weft. This results in a breathable, lightweight fabric with 52 yarns/cm in the warp and 33 in the weft, featuring a gently irregular surface that mimics linen’s casual texture.
The beige tone brings a sense of natural elegance and versatility—perfect for relaxed tailoring, summer shirting, or refined leisurewear. The slub effect enhances the fabric’s character, creating depth and movement while maintaining a clean, contemporary look.
