Avellino Lilac Popelin Solid plain
Avellino Lilac Popelin Solid Plain is a light and softly textured shirting fabric from ALUMO’s Avellino line—developed to emulate the relaxed, breezy look of linen while maintaining the smoothness and reliability of pure cotton. Woven in a Zephir structure with Ne 120/2 yarns in the warp and Ne 100/2 – 40/1 slub cotton in the weft, it features 52 yarns per centimetre in the warp and 33 in the weft. This construction gives the fabric a gentle slub texture that adds depth without compromising comfort.
The lilac hue offers a distinctive yet subtle alternative to more traditional shirting colours, bringing a refined touch of colour ideal for spring and summer. The linen-like appearance pairs effortlessly with unstructured tailoring or relaxed silhouettes, making it perfect for casual elegance.
