Giro Lilac Dobby/Structured Solid Plain Structured is a breathable and stylish shirting fabric from ALUMO’s Giro collection, woven with the historic “giro inglese” technique originally designed for British troops during African military campaigns. This distinctive perforated basket weave ensures excellent ventilation while preserving opacity, making it perfect for comfortable and elegant summer shirts.
Made from Ne 80/2-40/2 yarns in the warp and Ne 80/2 yarns in the weft, it features a thread density of 32 yarns per centimetre in the warp and 26 in the weft. The rich, open weave provides a structured yet airy texture, exceeding the breathability of the lighter Giro Light variant. The soft lilac tone adds a refined and contemporary touch, making Giro Lilac Dobby/Structured an excellent choice for those seeking sophistication and comfort in warm-weather shirting.
