Giro Red Dobby/Structured Solid Plain Structured is a breathable and lightweight shirting fabric from ALUMO’s Giro collection, crafted using the historic “giro inglese” weave originally developed for British troops in African campaigns. This unique perforated basket weave allows optimal ventilation while maintaining opacity, offering exceptional comfort in warm climates.
Made from Ne 80/2-40/2 yarns in the warp and Ne 80/2 yarns in the weft, it features a thread density of 32 yarns per centimetre in the warp and 26 in the weft. The fabric’s rich, open texture provides a structured yet airy feel, surpassing the breathability of the Giro Light variant. The vibrant red colour adds a bold and refined statement, making Giro Red Dobby/Structured an excellent choice for stylish and comfortable summer shirts that combine functionality with elegance.
