Giro White Dobby/Structured Solid Plain Structured
Giro White Dobby/Structured Solid Plain Structured is a breathable, summer shirting fabric from ALUMO’s Giro collection, crafted using the historic “giro inglese” weave originally developed for British troops during African military campaigns. Designed to address the need for cooler, more ventilated garments, this fabric features a unique perforated basket weave that promotes optimal airflow without compromising opacity or appearance.
Made from Ne 80/2-40/2 yarns in the warp and Ne 80/2 yarns in the weft, the fabric has a generous thread density of 32 yarns per centimetre in the warp and 26 in the weft, resulting in a rich, open weave structure that is larger and more breathable than Giro Light. This solid white fabric offers a refined, structured look with excellent ventilation, making it ideal for sophisticated summer shirts that combine style and comfort in warm climates.
