Avellino Green Popelin Stripes
Avellino Green Popelin Stripes is a relaxed yet sophisticated shirting fabric from ALUMO’s Avellino line—crafted to deliver the look and feel of a linen blend, while being made entirely from pure cotton. It is woven as a Zephir using fine Ne 120/2 yarns in the warp and Ne 100/2 – 40/1 slub cotton in the weft, with a thread density of 52 yarns per centimetre in the warp and 33 in the weft. This special construction results in a lightweight fabric with a naturally irregular surface and distinctive slub texture.
The fresh green stripe pattern adds character and vibrancy, offering a refined take on casual shirting. The irregular yarns mimic the informal charm of linen, making this fabric ideal for summer wear, relaxed business looks, or stylish weekends. Breathable, easy to care for, and rich in texture, this fabric embodies ALUMO’s mastery in translating traditional aesthetics into contemporary cotton perfection.
