Avellino Light Blue Popelin Stripes is a casually refined shirting fabric from ALUMO’s Avellino line—crafted to evoke the relaxed charm of linen, while offering the softness, stability, and ease of pure cotton. This fabric is woven as a Zephir with Ne 120/2 yarns in the warp and a combination of Ne 100/2 – 40/1 slub cotton in the weft, resulting in 52 warp and 33 weft threads per centimetre. The slub yarn creates a subtle texture, adding visual interest and a pleasantly irregular surface.
The pale blue stripes bring a fresh, breezy aesthetic, ideal for country-chic or laid-back city looks. With its lightweight construction and natural slub character, this fabric offers excellent breathability and comfort, especially in warmer months.
