Avellino Lilac Popelin Stripes
Avellino Lilac Popelin Stripes is a fresh and distinctive shirting fabric from ALUMO’s Avellino line—designed to blend the charm of linen with the comfort and practicality of pure cotton. This Zephir fabric is woven using fine Ne 120/2 yarns in the warp and Ne 100/2 – 40/1 slub cotton in the weft, with a thread count of 52 yarns/cm in the warp and 33 yarns/cm in the weft. The use of slub yarns in the weft creates a subtle irregular texture that mimics the laid-back appearance of linen while offering the softness and stability of cotton.
The lilac stripe pattern adds a touch of colour that feels both refined and original—perfect for spring and summer shirting. Light, breathable, and textured, this fabric brings a casual sophistication to everyday dressing. Ideal for relaxed tailoring or open-collar shirts, it captures the essence of country-chic style in a finely crafted, contemporary form.
